42 Years MUI upholds integration of religious values

The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), which was born on July 26, 1975, on Wednesday (26/7), entered the age of 42.

In the framework of the 42nd Milad, the MUI will organize a series of activities to strengthen the integration of religious values ​​in the context of nationality.

"The event begins with the implementation of Focus Group Discussion on the new Shariah economic flows, together with Bank Indonesia, implemented by the National Sharia Board (DSN) of MUI in cooperation with Bank Indonesia on Monday (24/7) yesterday", said Head of MUI Sector Information Masduki Baidlowi in Jakarta, Tuesday (25/7).

The 24th anniversary of Milad will be held on Wednesday (26/7) at Balai Sarbini Jakarta, which will be attended by President RI.

The event of Milad is strung together with the award of Syiar Ramadhan 2017. During the month of Ramadhan, MUI together with KPI conduct supervision on broadcast material.

Related to that, MUI gives appreciation for Ramadan broadcast material that has religious values, education, and recreation well so that it can be guidance for society and encourage the realization of intelligent, civilized and cultured society.

Religious values ​​can be a guide in the life of a nation and a state.

For the sake of reflection on the role of MUI khidmah in socio-political and cultural issues, MUI also invites researchers, academics to examine the problem of the role of MUI in the life of nation and state.

To that end, MUI organized the International Islamic Conference on Fatwa Studies.

 "This event was attended by 150 academics who examine the fatwa and its role in the life of the nation," said Secretary of MUI Fatwa Commission Asrorun Ni'am Sholeh acting as Chairman of the Committee.
