Governor Promises Hindu Cremation Tool

The Head of Suka Duka Hindu Dharma (SDHD) of DKI Jakarta, Made Sudata claimed to have returned a land grant of about 2 hectares from the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta.

Sudata explained, initially the land was given to the funeral of Hindus in Jakarta.

Because Hindus are cremated after death, SDHD DKI decided to return the land to the Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Agency.

According to Sudata, Hindu people in the capital need more cremation tools than burial grounds. The reason, despite having a building to cremate, the tool does not exist. Therefore he asked the city government to facilitate the religious ceremony of Hindus.

"Residents of hindu in Jakarta already have a cremation building, but the engine does not exist yet," Sudata said.
