Tremor still shook Mount Agung

BaliNews.xyz | The continuous tremor still shakes Mount Agung. Head of the Eastern Volcano Mitigation Sub-Division of the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG), Devy Kamil syahbana explained, is almost an hour more tremor constantly shook Mount Agung.

The continuous tremor that shook mounts as high as 3,142 mdpl indicates the activity of magma that was trying to break through the lava stoppers due to eruption in 1963.

"Meaning, Gunung Agung is swaying near the surface to the surface, we monitor whether or not the 1963 lava seal is completely uncovered," said Devy, Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

If in the end magma managed to disassemble the lava plug, Devy predicts lava will soon come out accompanied by the sound of the eruption.

"Later when it is revealed, the possibility in the peak area will be bright because the fresh lava out, the sound will also be heard," said Devy.

Only, Devy admitted could not be sure when it happened. Currently, said Devy, a continuous tremor has been an hour and continues to this day.

"But we can not be sure, we can only monitor, we both pray and hope not to get big out, but we still stand by and always ready with any conditions," said Devy, as released VivaNews.
